The Loftus Community Centre Playgroups provide an opportunity for parents and their pre-school children to meet, share ideas, support each other, learn new things, and most importantly, have fun!
 Currently the Loftus Playgroups service over 150 families with groups from new-born through to pre-school aged children. Each Playgroup has its own Coordinator and operates independently according to the needs of the Group.
A volunteer committee is responsible for overseeing the running of all the Playgroups and meets once a month to discuss any issues, future initiatives and opportunities. All Playgroup members are welcome to attend these meetings.
